Comedians Eleanor Kerrigan (WOW: Women of Wrestling, No Country for Old Women, The Comedy Store Podcast) and Max Meisel (Hard Work, Back Door Comedy) find themselves in a blindfolded “getting to know you” situation on this episode of Long Time No See: The Podcast. Listen above or wherever you get your podcasts, or check out the full video below.
As always on LTNS, this episode finds the pair of comics delving into revealing personal anecdotes and making hilarious observations. When talking about a variety show lineup that might feature magicians, for example, the conversation quickly devolves into commentary on how freaky magic wielders really are. “Magicians f*cking get down,” says Meisel. “I went to a house part where there was a magician there. This guy f*cked like, three people in the bathroom.”
“Of course he did!” an unsurprised Kerrigan says. “And then he disappeared!”
They also discuss their biggest bombs (Kerrigan’s was opening for close friend Andrew Dice Clay, Mesiel’s was delivering a set that had killed just a night earlier), and alternative careers if they weren’t in comedy. Kerrigan say’s she’d be the first professional female quarterback, as she loved playing football as a kid. “I’m one of 10 [kids], but [my mom] had four boys in a row. She just wanted a little girl, and then I came out, I’m like, ‘What’s up bitches?’ She was just like, ‘Oh God. What happened?’ I go, ‘I didn’t cook long enough. It didn’t pop out.’”
